Nitin Mistry (pictured) has joined Earl Shilton Building Society (esbs) as an assistant management accountant.
Much of his career has been spent within the footwear sector having worked for Wolverine Worldwide, which includes the Hush Puppies and Merrel brands within its portfolio, and Shoe Zone, where he was responsible for budgets and forecasting for over 500 stores across the UK and Ireland.
Mistry said: “The size of esbs means it offers a great platform to learn the different aspects of the banking sector and to get a deeper understanding of financial institutions and how they operate.

FOOTWEAR retailer Shoe Zone has opened its revamped store in Poole town centre. The shop, described as a new concept store by the retailer, opened on Wednesday, April 21, well after lockdown restrictions for non-essential retail were rolled back. Charlotte Maker, head of marketing at Shoe Zone, said: We are very excited to be opening our newly refitted store in Poole. On opening we will have 63 concept stores of this kind open in total, which is a great achievement.
