Popular West Allis German restaurant Kegel’s Inn will bring a Bavarian-style beer hall experience to the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center in the form of a beer garden at the lakefront. Shish Kabob with saffron basmati.
One of America s top restaurants for Persian cuisine is making its Houston debut in fall 2022.
Rumi s Kitchen, with locations in the Atlanta area and in Washington, D.C. and celebrated for contemporary twists on the food of Iran, will open at Post Oak Place at 1801 Post Oak Blvd. in Uptown Houston.
The luxury, 112,000-square-foot development that stars Zadok Jewelers and is designed by Michael Hsu Office of Architecture will also be home to Uchiko, the upscale concept from Hai Hospitality (the folks behind Uchi). The addition of Rumi s Kitchen will undoubtedly make Post Oak Place a hotspot for Houston diners.
Mediterranean/Middle Eastern (Habibi, Alkeme, Casablanca, Shish Kabob).
You might argue authenticity from one place to another, but you d be missing the point. Erie has discovered the world.
There s no stopping this train. In fact, it s rolling no brakes out of the Himalayas and into Erie s growing Indian and Nepali immigrant community.
Three restaurants with dishes associated with the subcontinent have opened their doors, with a bit of overlap, but what all three owners say are authentic to the India-Nepal region.
Fine Restaurant and Bar, 2330 E. 38th St.
This one might be the most symbolic of the new places, as it opened in February in the former landmark Nunzi s which closed in November after 67 years. New owner Chandra Khadka, 26, is a former grocer who once owned Oriental Mini Mart on East 38th St., as well as K.C. International Food on Buffalo Road.
Best restaurant in Charlotte NC
This delicious restaurant, open since 2008, is as welcoming as they come. La Shish kabob was founded by Izzat Freitekh. Mr. Freitekh provided us with wonderful explanations and recommendations from the vast menu. There is history to his authentic middle eastern recipes. La Shish Kabob’s signature shawarma with rice is mouth watering. Don’t forget to add their special sauce.
Aside of the shawarma, they offer a wide variety of food. Cornish hen (baby chicken), lamb shanks, mixed grill (which includes three skewers: lamb, kefta (marinated ground beef) and chicken. The orders include a side of rice, grilled vegetables, salad, and pita bread. Trust me, it’s a lot of mouth watering food.
