Foreign Taliban threatening security on Afghan-Tajik border ANI 31 Jul 2021, 02:55 GMT+10 Kabul [Afghanistan] July 30 (ANI): The presence of foreign terrorists, who have affiliated with the Taliban has been threatening security especially in areas in the northern regions of Afghanistan on the border with Tajikistan, according to a member of the Afghan government s peace negotiating team. Fawzia Koofi, a member of the Afghan delegation which is in talks with the Taliban in Doha, on Thursday said swift action should be taken against the presence of foreign fighters in the border areas, Tolo News reported. Now the activities and movements of foreign terrorists have increased more than any time before along the border areas and in the strategic locations which have come under Taliban control, unfortunately, Koofi was quoted as saying.
