Get our free mobile app Back on Thursday, July 15th, Levelland Police and the Lubbock Police Department SWAT Team were involved in a 10-hour standoff, and Levelland PD is now thanking the community for their supporting of wounded officers. 4 officers were injured in the standoff and one officer, Lubbock County Sheriff s Deputy Sgt. Josh Bartlett, was killed. Sgt. Shawn Wilson was one of the officers wounded.
