Soup For The Soul Raises Funds For Homeless Services On Dec. 5, Santa Clarita’s Bridge to Home hosted the first-ever virtual Soup for the Soul event to raise funds for aiding the homeless population.  Soup for the Soul is a Bridge to Home’s largest fundraiser, including an auction and sponsorship opportunities that provide the Santa Clarita non-profit with funds to service the homeless. Services include shelter, case management, housing navigation and direct referrals to support services.  Such services are in high demand for the high-risk homeless population during the coronavirus pandemic, according to officials.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fundraiser was transferred to an online setting, with hundreds of residents tuning in on YouTube and SCVTV to watch. The event was hosted by radio host Shawn Parr at Crossroads Community Church.

Bridge to Home will close its silent auction on Saturday, Dec. 12 after it hosted its first-ever virtual Soup for the Soul event on Dec. 5, which helped raise funds for people experiencing homelessness.
