EAST LIVERPOOL The East Liverpool Municipal Court recently achieved another first for its drug court.
According to Sara Norris, who oversees the court’s probation department, they recently surprised their clients with new technology, after introducing hair follicle testing amid the pandemic.
Many government buildings like East Liverpool City Hall, where the court is located, were closed to public access for months last spring, limiting daily engagement and testing opportunities for drug court clients who found themselves at an increased vulnerability for relapse.

LINCOLN, Neb. – Join the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission on Feb. 17 in its series of virtual Conservation Career Chats. Zoologist Shaun Dunn will discuss his duty of keeping track of Nebraska’s nongame mammals, insects, reptiles and amphibians.
Dunn also will discuss his career path, education and fun experiences he has had working to conserve species in Nebraska that have declining populations. Participants are encouraged to ask questions relating to the career field.
The series is held via Zoom on the third Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. Central time as a different Game and Parks career is highlighted. Each interview will be recorded and uploaded to the Nebraska Game and Parks Education YouTube Channel.
