Shawn Young, board member and spokesperson for the airport development council, said in an interview that he cannot divulge too much just yet. He assured The Record that it will be fresh and innovative compared to previous projects involving the airport. “The earlier we can get talking about this and get into people’s minds that this is a different project, it’s a new project, it’s part of kickstarting the Eastern Townships’ economy once the pandemic slows down,” said Young.
