Some person, or a group of people, vandalized the splash pad at Lions Park in Shakopee.
The Shakopee Police Department shared photos of the damage at the splash pad - which is believed to have occurred the night of May 15 - showing what appears to be a lion with a missing foot, as well as just the stems of what appear to be water-spraying flowers.
Police Chief Jeff Tate told Bring Me The News the estimated cost to repair/replace the lion is $10,000-$12,000.
It was a strange year to be living in Shakopee (or anywhere on the planet, really), thanks to the global pandemic.Â
