Feeling frustrated by the COVID-19 pandemic, Somerville resident Rhiannon Menn decided to make a lasagna for a neighbor who she knew could use a homemade meal.
Menn enjoyed cooking with her 4-year-old daughter, Cimorene, so the pair made a meal for another neighbor and then another. Last May, Menn used her blog, Good to Mama, to invite other people to join the effort she called Lasagna Love.
“Lasagna Love is a nationwide grassroots movement that aims to positively impact communities by connecting neighbors with neighbors through homemade meal delivery, according to the nonprofit s website. We also seek to eliminate stigmas associated with asking for help especially from moms when it is needed most.
