Created: April 08, 2021 08:02 PM A former employee of the U.S. Postal service now admits he threw away thousands of pieces of first-class mail. Tanner Brown, 25, of Cobleskill pled guilty in federal court this week to a felony count of delaying the mail. In 2019, Brown buried the letters and packages in a field and in woods around Sharon Springs, instead of delivering them to Onondaga County. When agents retrieved the mail, they say most of it was wet, dirty, and covered with bugs. Copyright 2021 - WNYT-TV, LLC A Hubbard Broadcasting Company Most Read Stories
