Uttam asks employees to revolt against union leaders

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Pradesh (TPCC) President & MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy exhorted employees to revolt against their union leaders for betraying their cause.
He was addressing a series of meetings in Nalgonda and Hyderabad on Wednesday in connection with the MLC election campaign for Congress candidate Sabavath Ramulu Naik (Hyderabad-Ranga Reddy- Mahabubnagar). Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkatreddy and other senior leaders also addressed the meeting at Laxmi Gardens in Nalgonda.
Reddy accused the union leaders of mortgaging the interest of employees for personal gains. He said that the union leaders were acting like TRS leaders while treating the employees as their slaves. Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President & MP Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has appealed to the voters of Nagarjuna Sagar to elect Congress candidate Ramulu Naik as MLC from Khammam-Warangal-Nalgonda Graduates constituency and former LoP K. Jana Reddy as MLA from Nagarjuna Sagar seats in the forthcoming by-elections.

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy found fault with Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for skipping the meeting of NITI Aayog held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is as good as surrendering and giving a free hand to the Modi government, he alleged.
“As the Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. Rao should have participated in the meeting to raise issues concerning the State. By skipping the meeting, he sent a clear message that either he is not interested in the development of Telangana or he has completely surrendered before the Modi government, giving it a free hand to do whatever it wants to,” he said adding that while the other Chief Ministers presented a wishlist for their respective States, Mr. Rao decided to take rest by assigning the job to Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar.
