Sindri: The district administration in consultation with BCCL management is working on a Rs 300-crore-project that will provide healthcare, educational and other basic amenities to the residents of Belgaria Township where families from the fire zone of Jharia coalfield have been shifted, Dhanbad DC Uma Shankar Singh said on Monday. “The semi-skilled and unskilled jobs would essentially be assigned to the youngsters settled in the colony. We are working on a plan to rope in the services of an agency for preparing a skill profile of the unemployed youngsters in the colony to ensure better utilization of their skills,” Singh said while speaking to reporters after inaugurating a temporary health centre in Sindri.
