On Tuesday, Gov. Andy Beshear updated Kentuckians on the winter storm that has impacted communities across the commonwealth, as well as the state's CO.
Fire crews in Johnson County battled a structure fire on Rockhouse Road on Tuesday.
W.R. Castle Fire and Rescue said in a social media post that their firefighters assisted Rockhouse firefighters in the blaze on KY-2039.
According to the post, one person was injured and was transported by Paintsville EMS.
No word on that person’s condition or what led to the fire.

The following is an update from the office of Johnson County Judge-Executive Mark McKenzie:
Johnson County Judge-Executive Mark McKenzie issued a Declaration of a Local State of Emergency effective 10:45 p.m. on February 14th, 2021 declaring that all roads included in the county road maintenance system are closed to any non-essential traffic.
The weather pattern today has not allowed for much improvement in road conditions.
Due to a continued threatening overnight forecast, all county roads included in the county road maintenance system will remain closed through the night.
Road conditions will be re-evaluated tomorrow morning with an update provided around 9:00 a.m.
