Corgan made the reveal today on the band s Instagram, saying the vinyl release will be up for pre-order this Saturday (July 31) through his Madame ZuZu s website.
As the title makes clear, the album was recorded back in 1998 at the famed Hollywood venue, and it s apparently an acoustic effort. The thing you hear in the Viper Room show is you re really sort of being allowed into the studio where the songs don t have the accouterment of all the bells and whistles, Corgan said in the Instagram post. There s a certain innocence before songs are released to the world.
