It’s time to roll up you sleeve for the Covid -19 jab.  In an attempt to kick-start the state s vaccine roll-out, from Tuesday all adults living in regional locations around the state can get the Covid-19 vaccine.  Chief Public Health Officer Professor Nicola Spurrier said expanding the rollout was the “sensible” thing to do, with the state s regions at the next stage of the vaccine program.  “One of the things we did early on was establish these (35 regional) clinics, so, we’re using the capacity of those clinics to now offer to the younger people.”

Minister for Health and Wellbeing said General Practices (GPs) across the state are flexing up their distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine, with the support of the Commonwealth Government, to include those in Phase 2a of the rollout program. “Most people will receive their COVID-19 vaccination through their GP and it is great news that our GP clinics will begin offering vaccines to South Australians aged 50 years and over from today,” said Minister Wade.

Police are hunting for a driver who slammed his car into a pedestrian in Adelaide s inner-south in a suspected targeted attack. Emergency crews were called to a service station on Le Hunte Street, Wayville, just after 1pm today after reports a man had been injured. CCTV from across the street shows a silver Holden Commodore turn into the service station and appear to slam into the pedestrian, pinning him against a van before reversing and driving away from the scene on Goodwood Road. Police are hunting for a driver who slammed his car into a pedestrian in Adelaide s inner-south in a suspected targeted attack.(9News)
