Susan Boucher - Reform UK Welsh children once again find themselves at the bottom of educational attainment tables for the UK. Lockdowns have had a huge impact on our children’s education, particularly Labour’s policy of banning outdoor sports and keeping children out of class. Now that we have vaccines, new treatments and knowledge of who is at risk from Covid, we must use this information to manage the disease. A targeted protection strategy is the best way to ensure a workable policy that doesn’t inflict so much damage on our communities by shutting schools and businesses. We believe in cutting waste and reducing taxes.

One of Swansea s largest wards, Llansamlet has a population of more than 15,000 and four councillors serving it.
NFU Cymru is inviting its membership across Wales to join its virtual national hustings event on Wednesday, April 28, at 7pm ahead of the Senedd elections on May 6. The event will give members the opportunity to hear from the candidates about their respective parties’ policies for agriculture and will allow members to ask questions on the issues that matter to them. Candidates currently confirmed to attend the event include: Emily Durrant – Wales Green Party; Janet Finch-Saunders – Welsh Conservatives; Llyr Gruffydd – Plaid Cymru; Neil Hamilton – UKIP and William Powell – Welsh Liberal Democrats. NFU Cymru president John Davies said: “Welsh agriculture is currently going through a time of great uncertainty but with this comes great opportunity. Leaving the EU has meant that we can create agricultural policies made in Wales for Wales.
