TAMPA â Rhea Law was the first one in the building when she entered her new office around 7 a.m. Wednesday.
It wasnât her first day at the University of South Florida, but it was her first day on campus as interim president. And in some ways, she said, it felt like coming home.

HOUSTON A Harris County district judge revoked the bond the man accused of fatally shooting a teen during a road rage incident following an Astros game.
Prosecutors want Gerald Wayne Williams, 34, to stay locked up as his case moves through court. Williams will remain in jail until Friday when he is scheduled to appear before a judge for a bond hearing.

Family thankful suspect safely taken into custody
The teen s father Paul Castro said the family had been praying the suspect would be taken into custody peacefully without the harm of more individuals or officers. HOUSTON - Houston police say the suspect charged in a road rage shooting that left a teen dead turned himself in on Monday.
Gerald Wayne Williams, 34, is charged with murder for the July 6 shooting of 17-year-old David Castro, who was going home after a Houston Astros game with his family. Police identified Williams in a tweet Friday afternoon.
DETAILS: Prayers were answered today, said David s father, Paul, after Williams turned himself in at HPD headquarters. Our family has been praying for the safe arrest of the suspect. The fact that he safely surrendered and did not put any of the community members in jeopardy, none of the police department members in jeopardy, is an answered prayer.
