The husband of one of four Australian police officers killed in last year’s horror crash on a Melbourne freeway has criticised Porsche driver Richard Pusey’s 10-month sentence over filming his wife as she lay dying as inappropriate and inadequate. Pusey needs to serve only a handful more days in prison after a judge ruled his 10 months in custody already fulfilled the length of his sentence. County Court judge Trevor Wraight sentenced Pusey on Wednesday after he pleaded guilty to the rare charge of outraging public decency for filming the aftermath of the crash on April 22 last year, plus other charges, after the four officers were hit and killed by a truck in Kew.

With a fatherâs kiss and a police salute, families of the four officers killed in the Eastern Freeway tragedy gathered to mark the one-year anniversary of their deaths at the police memorial.
âTragically they were taken from us through a criminal act and that sent shockwaves through the Victorian community,â Chief Commissioner Shane Patton said.
