(Laramie, WY) – The Wyoming Cowboys could not slow down the high paced offense of the Boise State Broncos falling on Wednesday evening in the Arena-Auditorium by a score of 90-70. The Pokes fall to 7-4 overall and 1-3 in the conference with the Broncos winning their school record 12th straight game and move to 12-1 overall and 8-0 in the MW.
“I thought our response was tremendous tonight,” Linder said. “To only have seven players available and to not have a post player tonight even when we got down I thought the kids really competed. As I told them in the locker room, we don’t ever want to get used to losing, but I wanted them to learn from the experience of playing against a team of the caliber of Boise State and to compete to the end. The Wyoming Cowboys return to the friendly confines of the Arena-Auditorium for the first time 2021 hosting Boise State in the Arena-Auditorium on Monday evening in a 7 p.m. start. The contest can be seen on CBS Sports Network, as the Cowboy head coach Jeff Linder faces a team that he was an assistant coach from 2010-2016.

The University of Wyoming Athletics Department was informed that fans will not be allowed to attend UW Athletics events through at least Jan. 25, 2021. These guidelines follow the most recent Public Health Order issued by the Wyoming Department of Health regarding COVID-19 and gatherings of more than 10 people.
