Top police personnel gathered on Wednesday in Tirupati to review the security arrangements to be made ahead of the Southern Council Meet slated for March 4, which will be chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Additional Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta made a visit to the proposed venue along with Inspector-General of Police (Intelligence) Sasidhar Reddy, Deputy Inspector-General (Anantapur range) Kanthi Rana Tata and Superintendent of Police (Tirupati Urban) Ch. Venkata Appala Naidu.

Police personnel inspect remote areas, interact with election staff
With the panchayats in Tirupati Urban police district going to polls in the fourth phase of elections, the police personnel went on an inspection spree in the remote areas.
Superintendent of Police Ch. Venkata Appala Naidu inspected a few nomination filing centres in Chandragiri mandal and interacted with the polling officials over the arrangements made and requirement of manpower. Indicating that shadow teams and check-posts would remain active throughout the poll period to ensure the conduct of elections in a free and fair manner, he invited voters to exercise their franchise. He also warned the public against posting instigating messages on the social media. For any information on violation of model code of conduct, the people can either dial 100 or call 63099 13

Ch. Venkata Appala Naidu took charge as the new Superintendent of Police of Tirupati Urban district on Sunday.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, he said the conduct of the panchayat elections in a free, fair, unbiased and peaceful manner as his top priority. Mr. Naidu, who has worked as the SP of Chittoor district in the past, acknowledged having knowledge of the district’s topography and sensitivity.

‘It will end all disputes and ensure documents to property owners’
Bobbili MLA Sambangi Venkata China Appala Naidu has said that the Jagananna Saswata Bhuhakku and Bhu Rakshaka Padhakam would resolve the land disputes and ensure proper documents for the property owners.
The MLA launched the scheme in Marrivalasa village of Ramabhadrapuram mandal as part of which drone survey of the land began.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Venkata Appala Naidu said that the survey with the support of drone cameras would be accurate and it would complete the process quickly.
