Maryland women’s lacrosse will be returning a key starter and leader next season.
Head coach Cathy Reese announced Wednesday that senior midfielder Grace Griffin will be using her extra year of eligibility granted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I’m so excited to come back,” Grace Griffin said. “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have another year. Last year was tough, I mean everyone knows with COVID and our season getting canceled and just wanting to be a part of the Terps program [for] as long as I can.”
