PVR: The eading multiplex chain operator reported a consolidated net loss of 219.55 crore for the first quarter ended June 2021, due to a hit on its film exhibition business amid Covid-induced lockdowns. The company had posted a net loss of Rs 225.73 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago.
Container Corporation of India: The state-owned Concor reported 409.67 per cent surge in consolidated net profit to Rs 251.22 crore for the first quarter ended June 30. The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 49.29 crore in the year-ago period, the multi-modal logistics company said.
TVS Motor Company: The two-wheeler maker reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 15 crore for the first quarter ended June 30. The company had reported a net loss of Rs 183 crore in the April-June quarter of the 2020-21 financial year.
