kmfm David Gray David Gray (born 13 June 1968) is an English singer-songwriter. Gray released his first studio album in 1993 and received worldwide attention after the release of White Ladder six years later. It was the first of three UK chart-toppers in six years for Gray, of which the latter two also made the Top 17 in the US. White Ladder became the fifth best-selling album of the 2000s in the UK. Gray has been nominated for four Brit Awards – twice for Best British Male.

When the tour does get underway, Gray will perform the much-loved album in its entirety. “It is hugely disappointing to have to do so,” says Gray of the latest postponement, “but the key word to keep in mind here is interconnectedness.” He adds, “It’s not enough that some of the dates might be able to happen this year, all of the dates need to happen in order that the tour as a whole makes sense.” Gray’s fourth studio album dropped in 1998, and steadily climbed the chart ladder in the U.K., where it finally went to No. 1 in May 2000. To date, the album has logged 176 weeks on the Official U.K. Albums Chart, and has racked-up more than 7 million sales worldwide.
