UTR Presents Andrew Fagan and his band return to venues across the North Island in April to perform songs from his solo and Mockers years, and celebrate latest album Act Normal. Fagans career spans over 40 years, from his time as frontman of punk group The Ambitious Vegetables, pop-rockers The Mockers, to his ongoing solo career. His solo material over the years - performed with his band Fagan and The People - includes laconic social commentary classics such as Exciting, Now You Know, Blame Me, Get Light, Religion, Jerusalem, and On Channel Me. The acclaimed new album Act Normal was released on the cusp of lockdown, so the band are jumping out of their skins for this delayed release tour. To coincide with the tour, new single Youll Be Fine is released in early March.

Clap Clap Riot - March Aotearoa Tour - Meow, Wellington

Gig Information With their initial tour planned for March, the gremlin that is Covid-19 has forced the rescheduling of Clap Clap Riots original tour dates to August. Between lockdowns and a sold-out guilty pleasures show at Auckland s Whammy Bar, the band has been working on the follow-up to their third full-length album. The final flourishes are currently being put on the yet-to-be-titled release, which is being recorded with producer Tom Healy inside Mount Eden studio The Lab. Ahead of the release, Clap Clap Riot will visit four centres across the country to perform a combination of crowd favourites and new material. This will be the bands first nationwide tour since 2019.

Ras Judah Culture Embassy - The Boathouse, Nelson

Gig Information The band’s musical style is an infusion Afro jazz and roots reggae. Culture Embassy started in Wellington back in early 2013 as a collaborative music project between Ras Judah and friends. Ras Judah hails from Botswana in Southern Africa. He has been playing music professionally for over two decades, has recorded three solo albums as well as work on several collaborative projects, including work with various musicians in Africa, Europe and here in Aotearoa. Ras Judah & Culture Embassy released their first album as a group in November 2015 in Wellington. In 2018 the band performed the Newtown Fair before embarking on a tour of the South Island which included a performance at the annual Nelson March fest. In 2019 Ras Judah and Culture Embassy performed at Cuba Dupa
