Puerto Williams in Chile will be the new departure port for Silver Explorer’s expedition cruises to Antarctica, from November 2021.
Described as a “sparsely populated frontier town”, Puerto Williams is on Isla Navarino in the Beagle Channel at the southern tip of South America.
Passengers will travel to and from the port on private flights from Santiago for their cruises to Antarctica.

Silver Explorer will be one of three Silversea ships offering a wide variety of Antarctica itineraries in the 2021/22 season Starting in November, Silversea will debut Puerto Williams, Chile, as its new departure port for Silver Explorer’s Antarctica expedition cruises.
