Of the bodies and human remains recovered by crews working around-the-clock so far, 92 victims have been identified and their families notified of their deaths. So far, more than 26 million pounds of concrete and other debris have been removed from the Champlain Towers South complex site. The news outlet s Tuesday report revealed that the letter read: The scope of work will be concrete structural repair in the parking garage.

Collapsed Miami condo pool deck was flagged as a problem TWENTY FIVE YEARS ago in report which found 500ft of cracks and warned waterproofing had to be completely replaced A 1996 inspection report raised multiple issues about the pool deck at Champlain Tower South which collapsed on June 24  The report found that the pool deck had 500 cracks that needed to be sealed and a 20-square-foot slab that needed to be replaced during a 1996 inspection The report noted that the waterproofing below the pool deck and entrance drive also needed to be completely removed and repaired  Although the report didn t specifically indicate the building was at risk of collapse, it did outline concerns, later laid out in the October 2018 report
