LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - Law enforcement officials say U.S. Marshals have picked up a murder suspect from the weekend.
U.S. Marshals arrested Frank Cooper III, in Memphis, Tennessee around 10:30 Thursday morning.
According to officials, investigative leads developed by the Marshals Service lead them to learn Cooper had fled Lawton and was in Memphis.
Authorities began canvassing the city of Memphis and were able to locate and apprehend Cooper.
Cooper is suspected of shooting Lavonte Lawler at the Garrett’s Landing Apartments around 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. A second person was also injured and taken to the hospital but survived.

LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - Today we are hoping to find out more information on four different homicides that have happened across Lawton in the past four days.
Tuesday night, the city jail confirming they have a suspect in the shooting at Phillips 66 on Sunday afternoon. Tevin Anderson is in custody for an accessory to murder charge. It comes as a warrant was issued for Zaire Brown for first degree murder in the same incident. Authorities are still looking for him.

LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - A First 48 reward has been issued for suspects in one of last weekendâs deadly shootings in Lawton.
Police say 36-year-old Frank Cooper III is wanted for the murder of Levonte Lawler and possession of a firearm after former convicted felony.
LPD previously told us Cooper was NOT a suspect.

LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - According to a BOLO, or âBe On The Lookoutâ call put out over police radios, the Lawton Police Department is looking for a man in connection to a homicide at a Lawton apartment complex on Saturday.
âCounty, be on the lookout for a Franky Cooper, he is wanted for questioning and is a suspect in connection to the homicide in Lawton yesterday. He goes by Franky but his government name is Frank Cooper the 3rd. May be in a Blue 2011 Chevy Malibu. The right headlight is taped together. If contact is made reach out to the Lawton Police Department,â said a dispatcher.
