Sales peaked in the last days of the month, with 3,059 units being registered between December 28 and 30. Registrations rose sharply as stamp duty is set to increase by 1% starting January 1, 2021. The daily average units registered in December was 585 till December 25. The figure nearly doubled to 1,019 units in the last week between December 27 and 30.
