Hollywood Foreign Press Association officials have responded to NBC bosses scrapping coverage of the 2022 Golden Globes by announcing a two-month set of reforms.
The HFPA board has been slammed for failing to have any black members, with Hollywood A-listers and executives calling for a boycott until the organization has its house in order. And it appears they are deadly serious about making necessary changes.

U.S. television network NBC on Monday dropped its broadcast of the Golden Globes ceremony in 2022 after a Hollywood backlash over the ethics of the group that hands out the annual awards for film and television and its lack of diversity.
Tom Cruise joined a revolt led by streaming platforms and studios, returning the three Golden Globe statuettes he won for his roles in “Jerry Maguire,” “Magnolia” and “Born on the Fourth of July,” Variety and Deadline Hollywood reported.

The Sundance Institute named on Monday the artists and projects for the first group of its upcoming summer labs. The group includes 12 fellows for the directors and screenwriters labs and nine artists participating in the Native and Indigenous lab which focuses on the development of storytellers from those backgrounds through feature film, episodic work and other pursuits. One artist will participate in both labs.
Elements of this year’s labs will take place digitally via Sundance Collab.
