Sagewind Capital has added a fourth platform to its government services portfolio in sensor data services firm Sigma Defense Systems. Terms of that transaction announced Wednesday were undisclosed. In tandem with the deal, Sigma Defense said it hired former Special Operations Command Chief Information Officer John Wilcox as CEO and veteran SAP NS2 executive Matt Johns as president. Scott Ritchie and Thor James, Sigma Defense’s founders, will respectively remain with the company as chief growth officer and chief operating officer. They will also retain a significant equity ownership.
