A Nanaimo man has been arrested after a rampage that damaged four police vehicles.
The first strike happened just before noon on Monday, CTV Vancouver Island reports. The suspect’s speeding pickup sideswiped a police cruiser that had its lights and sirens on, then continued on.
A nearby officer picked up the pursuit, following as the pickup rammed a pair of parked RCMP vehicles and rolled into the side of a building. As the suspect attempted to reverse away from the impact, the pursuing officer drove up behind and pinned the truck in its spot against the building.
