Investigators have linked the abduction of 18-month-old Ackelia Patten in Montego Bay, St. James to a domestic dispute.
Ackelia was found on Thursday and is now in the custody of the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA).
She was reportedly dropped off at a medical facility in St. James by unidentified individuals about 10 o clock Thursday morning.
Assistant Commissioner Clifford Chambers, head of Area One police, provided an update on the investigation, noting that while the police are not ruling out other leads, it would appear the incident was the result of a domestic dispute.
