As cases drop, Utah continues to offer free COVID-19 testing © Provided by KUTV Salt Lake City Free rapid antigen COVID-19 testing is, again, being offered by the Utah Department of Health across the state this week. New sites are targeted each week based on high positivity rates, fewer tests conducted, untreated wastewater sampling, and other surveillance data, according to a news release. Everyone is encouraged to wear masks and practice social distancing while waiting in line. Some locations may be drive-thru, while others will be conducted in buildings. Children three and older can get tested at these free testing clinics, even if they do not have symptoms of COVID-19. Anyone who has any symptoms, even mild ones, should come and get tested.

Free rapid COVID-19 tests are available at these Utah locations this week

SALT LAKE CITY The state of Utah is continuing to provide free COVID-19 rapid antigen tests to residents. The move by the Utah Department of Health aims to help drive down the community spread of the virus. Anyone over the age of 5 is eligible to receive a test, even if they re not experiencing symptoms. UDOH asks residents to register for their test before arriving at the site. If you do not register online or can t register online, you will be able to register at the site but it will take longer for you to be tested, said UDOH. Once the test is completed, UDOH will email the results from CV19result@utah.gov anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours. If there s trouble opening the email or it doesn t come after a few hours, call 385-273-7878 for assistance.
