CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - With the wind chill, or the âfeels likeâ temperature, possibly dipping down below zero degrees early Saturday morning, warming centers are being set up in Summit and Portage counties for those who need shelter from the bitter cold.
Temperatures will stay very cold through the weekend.
The 19 First Alert Weather Team is forecasting highs in the mid-20s Saturday afternoon, and highs in the low 20s on Sunday afternoon.
The City of Providence announced Sunday that due to expected severe winter storm conditions starting Monday, a citywide parking ban will go into effect at 6:00 AM on Monday, February 1, until further notice.
Sacramento County has now changed the requirements in order for warming centers to open in the midst of winter storms. Previous requirements kept the centers closed unless freezing temperatures, now slightly higher temperatures and rain can keep the centers open.
