Updated July 5, 2021 6:32am Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 remains in effect over Batanes, northeast portion of Cagayan including Babuyan Islands on Monday due to Tropical Depression Emong, according to PAGASA s early morning forecast. The areas in northeast Cagayan affected are the municipalities of Santa Ana and Gonzaga. These areas will experience 30-60 km/h strong winds prevailing or expected in 36 hours. Moderate to heavy and at times intense rains are expected over Batanes and Babuyan Islands on Monday night until Tuesday noon. Isolated to scattered flash flooding and rain-induced landslides are highly likely to occur in areas susceptible to these hazards.
