WINDSOR LOCKS â The man who died Sunday as a result of a fire at a townhouse at 94 Woodcock Court has been identified as the homeowner, David Lingua, 76, police Lt. Paul Cherniack said.
Lingua, who suffered burn injuries, was found deceased on an outside porch area of the townhouse, Cherniack said Tuesday.
He added that there is nothing that suggests foul play at this time, however police will withhold a conclusion pending presumptive results from the chief medical examinerâs office in Farmington.
A spokesman for the chief medical examinerâs office said Tuesday that Linguaâs cause and manner of death is pending further study.
