“It was earth-shaking,” said a neighbor on Dorre Road.

One New Hampshire family s gender reveal party was such a blast that it rattled towns, set off reports of an earthquake, and could be heard from across the state line, police said.
Police in Kingston, a town not far from the Massachusetts border, received reports of a loud explosion on Tuesday evening (local time). They responded to Torromeo quarry where they found people who acknowledged holding a gender-reveal party with explosives.

Afghan national held in Chitral, explosives recovered

CHITRAL: The police here on Friday arrested an Afghan national on the charges of possessing explosives.
District Police Officer Shamroz Khan told reporters that the personnel of the Counter-Terrorism Department and secret agencies conducted a joint search operation.
He said that a shop was raided in Drosh Bazaar during the operation. He added that explosives were seized in the raid. The accused was identified as Aftab.
The official said that a huge quantity of dynamites (1911) and 21,850 meter prima cord were seized during the operation.
Shamroz Khan said that the accused told investigators that he was the member of a terror outfit and the explosives were going to be used in subversive acts.

Erbil A drone dropped explosives near US forces stationed at Erbil airport in northern Iraq late on Wednesday, Kurdish officials said, with no immediate reports of casualties.
A separate rocket attack killed a Turkish soldier at a military base nearby, the Turkish defence ministry said.
It was the first known attack carried out by an unmanned aerial drone against US forces in Erbil, amid a steady stream of rocket attacks on bases hosting US forces and the embassy in Baghdad that Washington blames on Iran-backed militias.
