Leakage from quarantine in Victoria cost many lives and billions of dollars. And there’s little doubt that the current outbreak in Sydney will ruin Christmas for far more people than those who want to return to Australia for the holidays. Surely the Prime Minister and the premiers should call time on quarantining in major population centres. Any cost benefit analysis will prove that decision as being correct.
