One person is in critical condition after police say they were shot in Wilkinsburg Tuesday evening.
Officers with the Allegheny County Police Department responded to the 800 block of Woodworth Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. where they found the 23-year-old victim shot in the abdomen, according to a news release. The victim, who was not identified, was transported to the hospital.
The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the incident.

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - East Cleveland Police are commending the âpawesomeâ work of K9 Jack and his handler, Ptl. McInnes, for tracking an aggravated burglary suspect hiding under a pile of snow and yard waste.
Police said East Clevelandâs B Platoon called for the pairâs backup after the suspect ran away from officers and into a thicket where his footsteps couldnât be followed.
