Kingdom FM Woodmill High School, pictured in May last year A consultation on plans to move two Dunfermline high schools on to a new super campus alongside Fife College has gone live. The proposal would see both St Columba s RC and Woodmill high schools moved to land at the former Shepherd s Offshore site. The proposal came following a major fire at Woodmill in 2019, which destroyed large parts of the building, with the condition of both schools assessed as poor. Shelagh McLean, Fife Council s head of education, said: Both schools are in need of replacement and we feel that in relocating them to a joint campus site we can offer pupils at both schools an incredible opportunity in terms of cutting edge facilities and advanced learning opportunities.
