Vehicle strikes woman, 2 children in Woodbury

KSTP Created: March 02, 2021 06:51 PM A woman and two children were struck by a vehicle in Woodbury Tuesday evening.  According to the Woodbury Police Department, at 5:38 p.m., a 33-year-old woman and two children were walking near Greenbriar Lane and Ashford Road in Woodbury when they were struck from behind by a juvenile driver. The woman and one child were transported to Regions Hospital. The other child, who was in a stroller, wasn t injured. The driver told police the sun was a factor in the crash. Woodbury police investigating two vehicle thefts; one vehicle had dog inside

Updated: 8:25 AM CST February 1, 2021 WOODBURY, Minn. The owners of a dog stolen along with their SUV in Woodbury Sunday say she is home and safe.  Woodbury Police confirm that Violet, a dark Labradoodle, was inside a Lexus SUV parked outside Walgreens on Queens Drive when the vehicle was stolen. Police believe the same suspects stole a Gold Dodge Durango from the parking lot of Health East Sports Center on Radio Drive Sunday.  Violet s owners contacted KARE 11 to get the word out, and Monday morning they happily reported that the pup had been found. They said in a message that a tow truck driver found Violet leashed to the bumper of a vehicle parked outside an apartment complex in North St. Paul, and called them just before midnight. They drove to the scene, where the tow truck driver had the dog safe and warm in the back seat of his rig.

Woodbury police searching for thieves who stole 2 vehicles, including 1 with dog inside Published  (Woodbury Police Department) WOODBURY, Minn. (FOX 9) - Police in Woodbury, Minnesota are asking for the public s help as they investigate the theft of two vehicles, including one which had a dog inside. According to officers, a group of four driving two other vehicles which are also presumed to be stolen stole two other vehicles in the city. One vehicle, a gold Durango, was taken from a parking lot at the Health East Sports Center on Radio Drive. The other, a black Lexus GK SUV with the plates 445LFK, was taken from the Walgreens on Queens Drive. Inside the Lexus was a female labradoodle named Violet with a purple collar.
