Back in the 90s and 2000s, the Shreveport Mudbugs were a staple in Shreveport-Bossier - often selling out the (then) CenturyTel Center. The players were popular, the team won championship.it was just AWESOME to see. Unfortunately, the team hit some hard times in 2011 and folded. A few years went by.and then, in 2016, the Bugs were reborn as a junior league team in the NAHL.
Unless you re a super hockey nut, the majority of people didn t know what that meant. Actually, I distinctly remember a lot of former Mudbug fans saying who wants to watch of bunch of kids play contactless hockey? Well, for those that gave the Baby Bugs a chance, not only have we gotten to witness some Championship winning performances, but some entertaining games.

It Was 3-1 and It Ended 3-1, Group Stage Comes To a Close, and Other Blackhawks Bullets
Toronto Maple Leafs fans, if you’re here, I’m so sorry. Honestly, how many more times do the Leafs have to make the same movie over and over again? And after dropping a 3-1 series lead and losing another Game Seven in the postseason, what do you change from this Maple Leafs team? They had essentially everything they needed throughout the season and look poised to run through the Canadian divisional playoffs into the final four of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, then, nothing. It is going to be a truly fascinating offseason.

Defense had been the focal point for the Komets coming into Friday night. And the defense was improved, as Fort Wayne defeated the Wheeling Nailers 2-1 in front of an announced crowd of 2,419 at Memorial Coliseum.
“I was pleased from the start of the game, right till the end,” Fort Wayne coach Ben Boudreau said. “Even going back to Thursday’s practice habits, I thought we were committed to our craft, knowing we’d laid an egg (in a 4-3 loss to Wheeling) on Wednesday.”
