Image Source: IANS News Gurugram, May 28 : Acting on the direction of the Haryana government, the Gurugram district administration on Friday ordered all the private hospitals to cap the Covid vaccine price of each dose. Deputy Civil Surgeon M.P. Singh has directed all the private facilities to fix the rate of Covishield at Rs 900 and Covaxin at Rs 1,200, per shot. All private hospitals have been informed for fixing covid vaccine rates. As per the instructions issued by the government if the private hospitals set up vaccination camp out of their premises, then they can charge an additional Rs 250 for administrating the vaccine dose, Singh told IANS.

Image Source: IANS News Gurugram, May 28 : The recovery rate of Covid-19 cases in Gurugram has shown marked improvement with 98.14 per cent recovery rate as compared to 91.89 per cent a week back, according to the district administration. The health officials said the action plan prepared by the district administration focusing on testing, tracing and treatment appears to have paid of. They said so far, 14,96,670 covid tests have been conducted in Gurugram, of which 13,11,750 have come negative. In the last 24 hours around 5,493 tests were conducted in the district. Also, a total of 6,54,970 people have been administered with Covid jabs including 5,299 on Thursday.

Similarly, the recovery rate has also increased to 95.65 per cent, according to an official statement of the district administration. According to health officials, now the number of daily reported patients in Gurugram district has come down significantly. Only 516 Covid cases were reported in Gurugram on Saturday. Deputy Commissioner Gurugram Yash Garg said that on April 29, the district registered a positivity rate of 41.98 per cent, 34.91 per cent on April 30, 34.4 per cent on May 2, 24 per cent on May 11 and on May 23, it came down to 12.13 per cent.
