Grand Valley State University will be providing more resources to veterans and active-duty military servicemen and women courtesy of the new Peter Secchia Military and Veterans Program, a gift offering from the Secchia family.

Virginia, on the aggregate, has done reasonably well economically holding up through COVID-19, but more than 200,000 people who lost their jobs because of COVID are still out of work.
Jennifer Carroll Foy, a former state delegate running for the Democratic Party nomination for governor, is working to address where we are, and where we’re headed post-COVID.
Carroll Foy on Tuesday released a policy plan that centers on providing relief to the hundreds of thousands of Virginians who lost work during the pandemic, as well as small businesses traditionally left behind in favor of massive corporations and special interests.
Send Your Love to Veterans this Valentine’s Day
It’s no doubt that Valentine’s Day is all about love. Interestingly enough, I believe that times are always changing in which things are done differently. Valentine’s Day used to be the day just for couples that are together. More than ever, I see Valentine’s Day being showcased for almost everyone. Galentine’s Day ideas, to adopting a fur ever pet and even volunteering your time to show love are new ways of spending this holiday. It seems as if cupid has possibly retired. Valentine s Day is a reminder to share affection and love to our friends, family and those in need. On this holiday, let’s take time to do what we can do for our Veterans.

Organizations simply cannot acquire the cybersecurity talent required to address their biggest security challenges. Between an increasingly complex threat landscape, the growing cybersecurity skills gap, and the importance of securing remote networks, organizations are struggling to ensure effective security across all their infrastructures.
