Customer sues Lowes over alleged slip, fall in parking lot

EDWARDSVILLE A customer claims he slipped and fell in a Lowes parking lot in Glen Carbon due to damaged concrete and improper snow and ice removal.  Ryan Suma filed a complaint Jan. 8 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Lowe s Home Centers LLC, also known as Lowe s, Lowe s Companies Inc., also known as Lowe s, Lowe s Home Centers Inc., Executive Lawn Care Services and Case Snow Management Inc., alleging negligence.  According to his complaint, Suma was at the Lowe s store on Whistle Stop Drive in Glen Carbon on Jan. 19, 2019. He alleges that while walking in the parking lot near the cart return, he slipped and tripped, causing him to fall.

The details of this plan are under deliberation and will be shared with the public when finalized.
