Liberty (51st) State Proposal Has Twice The Support in 2021
No idea how far this will go, but it s definitely picked up some momentum.
Over the years, the idea of splitting Washington state in half, or down the Cascades, and creating a new state of Liberty has been introduced by one GOP legislator.
Last year, two supported the measure. Now, there are four.
Tom Dent along with Republicans Rob Chase, Bob McCaslin, and Robert Sutherland are fully behind the legislation. Dent is a House Rep from Moses Lake. The plan would split the state down the spine of the Cascades, and it would most likely be called Liberty.
Kevin McCarthy was forced to comment on Taylor Greene’s past and current behavior, as his spokesperson revealed that the House Minority Leader would “have a talk with her.”
Alisyn Camerota noted to Hogg that, “at the time she was chasing after him in the viral video, heckling you,” she was not an elected leader. Since winning a house seat, however, “she has just been assigned a plum assignment to be on the education, the house education and labor committee.”
“What is your message to leader Kevin McCarthy about whether or not that woman is equipped to have a committee position like that?” Camerota asked.

According to CNN, one of the adverts that was pulled depicted Greene holding a gun next to the head of socialist members of the Democrats including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Vaccine Appointments Widen In Buncombe
(Buncbome County, NC) Appointments for COVID-19 vaccines are opening up this week to more people in Buncombe County. Healthcare workers and residents aged 65-and-over are eligible to sign up for doses, which will be given starting February 1st. Health officials tell WLOS-TV around three-thousand vaccines have been administered so far, with around that many expected to be given this week. The state opened up vaccines for North Carolinians at least 65-years old last week.
