Some freezing rain and light snow are also possible.  Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the low 30s. Tuesday will start with mostly cloudy skies.  By mid-afternoon, sunny skies return, but it will still be cold.  Highs should only make it into the mid-40s across the Piedmont and the Upstate of South Carolina. Skies will be clear overnight, as temperatures fall into the mid to upper 20s.
