TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) As Vigo County School Corporation moves forward with consolidation plans and looks toward future projects, administrators are planning a series of public meetings to provide more details and answer questions from the community.
During Monday s regular school board meeting, superintendent Dr. Rob Haworth said he will hold eight community meetings beginning in April. Haworth noted he’s currently working with the United States Department of Agriculture to discuss funding for a West Vigo High School renovation project.
He will go into further detail on those plans at the community meetings, scheduled for April 8 at Lost Creek Elementary, April 13 at Riley Elementary, April 14 at DeVaney Elementary, April 15 at Rio Grande Elementary, April 19 at Terre Town Elementary, April 20 at Dixie Bee Elementary, April 27 at Fayette Elementary and April 29 at Sugar Grove Elementary.

Nichols, who was brought on as an assistant during the 2017-18 season, has stepped in as the Lions interim coach. The 1995 Roosevelt graduate shares a close relationship with Moore, and even though his brother can t be on the sidelines with him, Nichols has vowed to do everything he can to steer the team in the right direction.
