WHISKEYTOWN, Calif. - The Shasta Regional Transportation Agency is sponsoring free rides from downtown Redding to Brandy Creek Beach in Whiskeytown, according to the Shasta Regional Transportation Agency.
The bus rides will be starting Thursday and running through Labor Day weekend. The buses will run weekly every Thursday through Saturday, excluding holidays.
“The Beach Bus was a very popular community asset for Shasta County that last operated in 2017 and we’re looking forward to bringing back this transportation option for residents and visitors to enjoy the outdoors here in our backyard,” Dan Little, the Shasta Regional Transportation Agency’s Executive Director, said.
