India s NV Capital plans to tap non-resident Indians (NRIs), high net worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices and financial institutions in the UAE to raise Dh246 million ($67 million).
NV Capital will be India s first credit fund focused on the media and entertainment sector to invest in content creators, over-the-top (OTT) media platforms, gaming and entertainment start-ups.
The fund has received approval from the Indian regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as Category II Alternative Investment Fund.
